The Preamble to the Constitution

What is the Preamble to the Constitution? Please reread the Preamble, and then paraphrase it and tell what you think it means. (Please remember to vary your syntax.)

  1. The Preamble of the Constitution is kind of the introduction to the constitution. Since the men wrote this in an old fashion way, I will try to paraphrase what it means. The preamble of the constitution is telling us that we the people, all of us, they want a better document not like the articles of confederation, they want a peace loving country, we will have the protection of the country, give wellness to the people and cure them, take the gift of freedom to ourselves and the children to grandchildren and so on, they will take and will promote the Constitution of the United States of America is kind of the meaning of the constitution.

  2. The preamble is the first part of the constitution explaining what the constitution is going to do for the country.
    We the people of the United States in order to make a better nation, ensure fairness, peace, defense and protection for yourself, care, and freedom for ourselves and the next people of the country. We are writing this constitution for the United States of America.

  4. The Preamble of the Constitution is the introduction of the Constitution. It says, We the People of the United States in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and this Constitution for the United States of America. I think the preamble means that we are united and that this is a very important document.

  6. The Preamble of the Constitution is the beginning of the Constitution that lists the principles that our Founding Fathers wrote. We the people,to form a better nation, help make justice, peace, give us defense, help us be well,make liberty strong for us and the children born after us, to help follow the Constitution of the United States of America. I think the Preamble means that we have to help follow the Constitution so it can stay as an example for our government.

  7. The preamble is the start for the constitution and that is what the founding fathers set out to do. I will paraphrase you the constitution. We the people means all of us and they want us to form this country better than what it was. They wanted peace and fairness in the country. Let us have an army to protect us from any war that happens here. So that a kid that is in a medical school feel protected. That is what some of the paraphrase of the preamble.

    "We the people of the United States in order to form more perfect Union establish justice and insure domestic tranuility.Provide for the common defense promote the general walefare, secure the blessings of liberty to our posterity, do ordain with this constitution of the United States of America.
    I think that the people wanted liberty because they wanted freedom from the king that they never had got. So when they left they left it wasn't freedom because the king sent his soldeirs to bring back his servents and the men who worked for him. Then when the people that ran away form him got caught they got very angry at the king.

The Preamble goes like this, We the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. When the founding fathers wrote the constitution, they made law called the preamble. We still have the preamble today, and we still sing it.

  11. The Preamble of the Constitution is the introduction to the constitution. They are saying that they want a better place to live, and be able to be free. When, someone gets sick they don't want them to die they want to have medicine,so they can cure them. Also to have peace, protection, and caring. Also for it to be something that will still exist today, and it still does.
