If you could organize your own Book Club with your friends, what would you do in your Book Club? What would you call your club and what kinds of books would you select for your club to read?

ReplyDeleteThe book i am reading right now is called "hurricanes". I think the best thing about the book club is the stumping because you get raffle ticket, and it is fun! After we do the questions, We do the the stumping vocab. Another thing that is fun is the stumping; it is easy, And it is fun because you have to guess the word.
ReplyDeleteIf i had a book club, i wouldn't call it anything. I think the kinds of books i would read are sports or adventure books, but my favorite are sports books

ReplyDeleteThe book I am reading in my book club is "Mystery of the Mummies Kids" I love my book because it is so interesting, but it is also very creppy! Being in a book club is fun because you are still with your friends you are talking about a book that you enjoy and why you like it. If I had my own book club I would definiely take it serious but also have fun! I mean that is what the best thing about a book. We would probaly have to pick what books we like and vote some off. =)

ReplyDeleteI'm reading "Brian's Winter" right now in my class book club. One reason I like it is because it's fun to meet up with my friends and just agree with all of them about things that happened in the book and plus we get to stump them and that's fun, because you can earn ticket. What I like about this book is that you feel like if your there.
ReplyDeleteIf I made my own book club I would ask my members of it what they want to name it. We would read books that are realistic books. although in our book club we would have a fun time reading awesome books!(=
In our book club, we are reading "Brian's Winter" and it is very interesting! I love that you have a choice to PICK your own book. We usually get prepared before we start and then we all go in a circle.
ReplyDeleteIf I could make my own book club with my friends. I would give them schedules; so we can meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday i say at 4:30pm. I could make a spot for the meeting and we could have some chips, cookies, and juice. That way, it will be more fun. I will put some music but, not too loud! I just want to have 5 friends over so we won't make a big mess. Each Wednesday, I say we get one of our favorite books and talk about so we recommend each other good books. Monday and Friday could be the real book club book. We could ready mystery, fantasy, non-fiction, poetry, and mythology!
Right now,I'm reading "Hurricanes" in my Book Club. What I like about the book is that you get to learn all about Hurricanes, and the day that happen in the past. What I am enjoying about the Book Club is choosing the book and discussing the book with my friends. If I can organize my own Book Club; my friends and I would talk all about the book. We will read the book we want to read. :)

One thing I like about the book is that it tells some of the important mummies. What I enjoy about book club is that you get to discuss about the book and what you like about the book. You also tell them about the words you do not understand. Until they finish the book, they will decide if they like the book, or not.
ReplyDeleteBecause I would be able to organize my own book club ,I would do interesting books that people will like. What I will like to call my book club, "The awesome book club". The books that I would select the book that the people will like to read. After they select the book they want to read they will read it, so then the next day they will discuss about the book.
MY book club book that I am reading is "Island of the Blue Dolphins"; what I like about this book is that it involves a lot of interesting traditions. What I most enjoy about being in book club is preparing for the discussion, and it's so much fun to stump!
ReplyDeleteIf I organized my own book club it would be fun; I would say to talk about it and eat a little snack. I would call my book club whatever book were reading or the genre; If we had a choice to pick what book we want I would choice the novel of Narnia.
Right now I'm reading Kneenock Rise in book club and i enjoy reading the book. I like the book because it is fiction and it has a dog and cat in it.

Right now, I am reading "Mysteries of The Mummy Kids" in my book club, and I really enjoy discussing the book with my friend. I am enjoying the book because I am learning alot about mummies; the book is really awesome. I love rreading about mummies, but the only thing now I get scared at night and I am scared they are going to come at night and take with them.
ReplyDeleteRight now,I'm reading "Skunk Scout" in my Book Club,I really enjoy reading my Book Club because my friends are talking to me and we can hang-out while we talk. My favorite part is when you discuss it you win a lot a raffle tickets. If I can make my own Book Club I would call it " Read All you Can Read". What I would do in it is we only read but, we take turns. Yes I would let them choose and who ever piked the most I choose that book.

ReplyDeleteIn book Club I am reading the book "Brian's Winter", and what I like about it is that there is a man who survives in the wildness. What I enjoy about the book is that the book is in adventure; I really like to hang out with my friends so I like to discuss, because I like to chat and talk about books but that depends on the book. Although I some times don't like to read because I cant find a good book. If I could organize it I would think maybe meeting every month for a chapter book I would call it the friends group or learn to read and try it you'll like it. I think I would select any book adventures, mystery, crazy, fun, exiting or any thing. Since I could do a book club with friends I would if people want to. :) If you want to love to read all you have to do is read a good book you like and don't show off with the big fat books read what you love.

I also like this book because It's also interesting how mummies get mummified. In my opinion I think the discussion about the book is my favorite. The reason it's my favorite part is because it's it's the time to with your friends about the book of course.

Right now, I am reading a book called KneeKnock Rise. It is a very brilliant , and enchanting story I every read. It is about a village and on top of a mountain, there is a monster that lives up there and people would never go up there. They think the monster is a mamoth. If I had a club, I would read that book with my best friends.

ReplyDeleteWe are reading a mysterious booked named "Mysteries of the Mummy Kids". What I like about the book is that it has a lot of intresting things that I never would have thought of. for example: what is a silk road? It shows cities and routes throughout its history from the first century to about the fourteenth century! That is some intresting stuff. What I mostly like about being in a book club is team work, and when you don't know a word or you have a question they will always be by your side and help on finding that answer.
ReplyDeleteIf I could start my own book club I would make a book club I tell everyone we should sit in a circle and read what pages are expected all together no matter how long it takes and during the reading time we would have questions. I would name my book club it would be Read Without Speed. If I would select books to read it would be "Bud, Not Buddy", "Island of the Blue Dolphins" and "Frindle"

I am currently reading "Mysteries of the Mummy Kids" in my book club, and I really enjoy reading and discussing the book with my friends in book club. Although the book kind of creeps me out I really like the mysteries that are happening in the book, it is very interesting how they found the mummified bodies. I mostly enjoy reading the book, but I also love discussing the book with my book club. Before I start book club, my book club friends and I usually pick out a book, that's my favorite part. Also I do enjoy discussing the book with my friends, and I enjoy reading my vocabulary words to them and stumping them.HE HE HE!

Everyone in my book club would chose a book that they like, and talk to us about it in our book club discussion.If I had my very own book club I would call it " EMILY'S BOOK CLUB =D "!
